    was suggesting that kids on the spectrum don't understand the ramifications of mass killing. At least I hope not.

    The way I read it was about  finding it difficult to understand the social ramifications of sitting in a classroom, which was actually next to impossible for my son, whose autism is about as severe as it can get.

    If it was meant the way you read it, then you're right that would be a ridiculous and wrong comment.

      now that I read it again, that comment might be saying something pretty awful. I'm removing my rec just in case it says what you thought.
      Cause you're so right that this conflation of ASD with psychosis and violence and sociopathic behavior has got to stop.
