    Is negotiating with himself and starting out with a bad fucking idea.

    What the hell is he thinking?

    Obama is digging himself a hole here, there is no good reason to offer up these kinds of cuts to the Republicans especially when Social Security does not add to the deficit and the best way to ensure the program's solvency would be to remove the cap on payroll taxes. The President is well aware of this, but for some reason he keeps insisting on caving to the demands of the Republicans.

    All he has to do is let us go off the "fiscal cliff" (bullshit, it's no cliff) and we get a fairer tax code and win the fight, but he decides to give in to Republican demands?

    What kind of warped logic is this?

      I can not back the President on cuts to social security, medicare or medicaid.  Enough already with cutting those programs.
