    Gun violence in video? What is your point since a Mormon element between Breivik and Lanza is violent video games. Yes, responsible people use these age without becoming mass murderers but so do responsible gun owners.

      own at least one shooting game. I don't think I know a single male person that doesn't own a license to at least one game with guns in it.

      is a right wing distraction tactic, like the mental illness angle.  They are saying "look, it isn't guns that is the problem, it is this other thing."

      Lanza and Breivik didn't become violent because of violent video games.  They played violent video games because they were violent people.

      It is literally true that violent video games don't kill people. The best you can say is that it causes repetitive stress injury. if you are going to start legislating on what might cause a slight percentage chance increase of violence then you're going to run into personal rights issues. After all championship sporting events have been linked to riots.
