Mitt Romney opened his stupid mouth, and kept opening it until every last moth in his brain flew out for all to see.

like they think if they can start the 'rehab' of his name it ushers the way for his creepy brother Jeb in 2016. And Jeb's half-hispanic Republican off-spring after that to keep the dynasty going and try to give an appearance that the R's are more than cranky old white men. Stop it in its tracks early by shining the light nonstop on these losers.

    •  "Bush ERA" Tax Cuts is latest talking point (4+ / 0-)

...as if those tax cuts appeared spontaneously from the natural organic background, like the dinosaurs from the "Mesozoic Era", without any causal design, initiative, or involvement by George Bush and his Administration.  My money is that this talking point refinement is yet another product of the Frank Luntz disinformation fabrication plant.

...the reasons that George W Bush looks good compared to Mitt Romney.

And that reason isn't that George W Bush was all that good, but rather that Romney was that spectacularly awful.  Really, going into this campaign, I wouldn't have believed it possible for the Republicans to pick someone who would make Bush look good by comparison...but the Republicans managed to do so.

And that gets into the other thing that Republicans need to acknowledge, which is that they picked Mitt Romney.  They even managed to get enthusiastic about him by the end of the campaign.  And noting that his primary opponents were generally even worse doens't let them off the hook because it was the nuttiness of the Republican base that drove any remotely decent candidates away from even attempting to run.

The bottom line is that the awfulness of the Romney campaign was very much a reflection (and creation) of the Republican party.  Or, to put it another way, the Republicans definitely did build it!

    •  Thank God I haven't seen or heard ANYTHING... (0+ / 0-)

...about the worst president in American History. There is no way that anyone can feel better about the president that brought us the Great Depression ll. (nod nod wink wink it's not a depression. it's a recession) Yeah fucking right.
GWB and Cheney and the rest of the Cabal all earned their tickets to Hell. I'm sure they're all looking forward to their burning conversations in Hell with Hitler.
Too bad GWB and the rest of the GOP that will follow the Chimp to Hell.
