  •  What A Day (4+ / 0-)

My day started with my coffee cup jumping off my desk and into the wastebasket spilling half of it on the rug and this was before I had a chance to take one sip. I drive a half hour to take my niece to work and my check engine light comes on. I figure it was low on oil since it was time for an oil change. The guy at Napa suggests rather then just putting oil in I go across the street and actually have them change it. $36.00 later I have an oil change. The check engine light still is on. I limp the car 21 miles over to Midas. $289.00 later they fix the part of the car that mixes the oxygen with the gasoline and I come home in pouring rain. I have a wretched sinus infection and all I really want to do is sleep. Merlin and I nap and I go back this evening to pick my niece up form work. Essentially I'm on the road 2 hours each day. I discover I can keep the windows from fogging up if I put the heater on high and defrost but with the fever it sure makes it miserable. Going to grab some supper and a book and relax for the rest of the evening.
