been going on for decades, if not centuries. Hell, it is possible to trace our current political deadlock exactly all the way to the Great Compromise of 1776. We keep on doing it anyway because the alternative is killing each other.

Politics, man. It's what's for breakfast.

another thing. people on both sides like to think that there's a block of uneducated non participants that if only they tuned in and started digesting the information being put out by both parties they would want to participate. I think the people getting high and strolling around their garden might be on to something. Beats arguing  about how Obama is not as awesome as someone else thinks he is.

There will always be someone gauging you with a tolerance meter. Deeming you acceptable or evil. They're the best to offend.

is better than arguing about whether or not Obama Sold Us Out Forever.

the trains moving. I think some of the problem then comes from that someone getting to decide where the trains can move and who get to become wealthy because of them.

perhaps even desirable to burn one whilst agonizing over the latest political faux pas to pass before one's eyes or ears or both (online, radio, television).

It makes the absorbing of said latest broughaha a bit easier on one's evening.

Of course, it doesn't make the latest news (or whatever is passing for actual news that day) any better. Just easier to swallow.

I'll always love December 6th after this year.

Stroll on, noble jbou ~ it's all about the poppy seed bun.

Obama leads in the Deep Dish Pizza category as well :-)

man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much - the wheel, New York, wars and so on - whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man - for precisely the same reasons.

When lots of people show up to vote, Democrats tend to win.
