    But as we don't have TV piped into the house, it makes it a little easier not to bring it up.

    If it does come up, I will talk to them slowly and carefully about it.  However, I would rather they not be faced with the idea that there are guns everywhere.  I would rather they have childhood a little longer.

    No judgement on your choice.  Just my opinion.

    I don't blame Christians. I blame Stupid. Which sadly is a much more popular religion these days.

      that guns are everywhere.  But offering a little advice, like "try to hide in a closet" could save their lives someday.  Saying nothing helps nothing.  If your kids are not yet old enough to be in school, that's one thing; but if they are, they WILL find out ... and will then come to some bad conclusions about why you said nothing to them.
