O got PA by 300K votes. Out of 5.7 million.

What happens when it's no longer O on the donkey ticket, and the new AWB is still in the face of the people who crossed the line just for O?

What happens is 20 electorals going red.

a generic on the issues Democrat can beat a generic on the issues Republican if the person is more likable then the person they are running against. The issues don't matter much and with the gerrymandering that was done in in 2010 the congressional districts are so solidly red and blue that nothing really matters at all, if the incumbent avoids a major scandal he or she wins.

There will always be someone gauging you with a tolerance meter. Deeming you acceptable or evil. They're the best to offend.

and do some business in the red part of the state.
I was up there on Saturday and it was pretty amazing to hear unanimous horrified reactions to Sandy Hook. A couple of people teared up talking about it.
No one and I mean no one was worried about losing their guns. One guy I know has had an NRA bumper sticker on his truck for years and it was gone, baby, gone.

and it would be utterly inhuman to have any other reaction.

If this tragedy begins to diminish the membership and lobbying influence of the NRA, that is a very good thing.
