Anybody up for donating a kidney?  How about a cornea?  Come on, people!  We have two of them!

    •  all you need to do is tune in the Bravo network to (3+ / 0-)

see just how lavishly the really rich are living today.  If more Americans were able to see this firsthand, I think we'd have a lot more outrage in general.

The income disparity is SO huge, it is unfathomable to most people who can't actually SEE it that a tiny slice of people have most of the money, living like kings, and our government is facilitating it.

i swear my husband and i marvel at the houses just a stone's throw from our neighborhood...

at the houses that my son (who goes to private school--yeah yeah, i know) gets invited to from time to time.

i mean, obviously we're not in the poor house by any stretch of the imagination.  (we're just a few bucks shy of being part of obama's tax increase--which we'd be thrilled to pay btw)

but we DON'T live in a mcmansion.  we don't have new furniture.  we DID just replace our cars this year, but they were 11 and 13 years old respectively...i mean...after we pay our bills and help our familes who are truly poor...we're spent.

        sorry for rambling.

my point is--we're not poor and we have no idea how "the rich" get to live the way they live.  we see all these 1/2 million and million dollar homes and think...where the f do they get all that money?

if we're pulling down $200k and we're "struggling" and i use that term respectfully to all the people who are REALLY struggling...

what do these fools do for a living?

    •  Ouch! and LOL... well, sorta (0+ / 0-)

I might let my kidney go if I could be a flight attendant.
