  •  you go, girl! (?) (2+ / 0-)

I love this trend that the diaries like this are actually outnumbering the rox/sux diaries.  Believe me, you and anton have already done a lot of good.

If I were to add something, I think I"ve added a dailykos sieve to Wee Mama's three:  Is this diary going to teach me something?  If it is a diary that I already know what it says before clicking on the title, then I don't go in.

You see, once upon a time, there was a guy who went to prison.  He knew he was going to be there a while, so he thought he'd better learn how it worked.  He did a lot of watching, and he noticed this group of old timers who sat around calling out numbers and laughing.  He asked a guy what this was all about and the guy said  "they've all been here so long, they've heard all the jokes.  So they just numbered them, and then they just call out the number instead."  THinking this was his way to get into the good graces of the old timers, the newbie worked up his courage and went up to the group and finally one day called out "89!"  Nobody laughed.  In the ensuing awkward silence, he heard one of the old timers say to another.  "Boy, some people really don't know how to tell a joke...."

Yes, if I were jbou, that'd be one line and funny.

Still, no need to go into the diary or respond.  Just imagine what the person wrote, get really steamed about it and go hug your cat, dog, kids, partner, neighbor or potted plants.

In fact, I may take up a habit of stopping in and leaving "89!" as a comment, just so I can say I participated.  Feel free to join, if you feel it not too dickish.

Hay hombres que luchan un dia, y son buenos Hay otros que luchan un año, y son mejores Hay quienes luchan muchos años, y son muy buenos. Pero hay los que luchan toda la vida. Esos son los imprescendibles.
