    for a lot of us would be a full salary if we were healthy and working and not disabled.  Most of us live on a third or less of that per month.  Many times by the time your disabled the Healthcare system has stolen all your savings especially if you got slapped with pre-existing prior to the reform and then waiting three years to get on disability while trying to pay upwards of $1,400.00 a month for the state pool health insurance for the uninsurable.  

    They completely drain you of any resources before you even get your first social security check.  Especially if you are single or divorced and without any second income.  I love how the politicians live in a fantasy land and think we are all married or someone with a second income to care for us.
