  •  No, I think there must be some absorption (2+ / 0-)

because even after I'm thoroughly dried off, I still weigh more after a bath than before it. I've also noted many times previously that either bathing or swimming will send me to go pee eventually, despite going right beforehand, and I wind up needing to pee considerably more than would be due to the amount of liquid I've consumed that day.(We kidney patients get very used to having to measure how much we pee, so by now this sort of observation is second nature and pretty darned acvurate.)

Organ donors save lives! A donor's kidney gave me my life back on 02/18/11; he lives on in me. Please talk with your family about your wish to donate.

Why are war casualty counts "American troops" and "others" but never "human beings"?

    •  Glad to see you back! (2+ / 0-)

If you're interested in experimenting, try weighing yourself both immediately after drying off (I'm guessing that's what you did here), and then 15 or so minutes later. (No fair peeing in between! :-) I'm guessing that you'll find you weigh less 15 minutes later, suggesting that a thorough drying off isn't quite as thorough as we may think.

Let us all have the strength to see the humanity in our enemies, and the courage to let them see the humanity in ourselves.
