    Nicotine is another example. But nicotine, iron, and water are very different chemically and physically.

    (It occurs to me, though, that just maybe sweat glands can operate in reverse to some degree. Seems doubtful, but I can't rule it out. Google searches haven't turned up any evidence to support the idea of water absorption through the skin. In fact, the anecdotal argument that the wrinkling of skin is evidence of absorption of water may not be true either.)

    Let us all have the strength to see the humanity in our enemies, and the courage to let them see the humanity in ourselves.
