    Sales are down there, as well. After having an amazing year beginning last Thanksgiving, we've been surprised by the slowdown, which is about 30% compared to a year ago. Just as the economy took off last Thanksgiving, I'm not sure it slowed down that quickly. I have to think that retail stores are offering such great deals, that consumers are simply spending money on material goods. New phones are coming out faster than ever. TVs are getting larger and cheaper to the point where people are upgrading every other year. Add in aggressive sales, and it's just smart money to buy gifts at these prices rather than dine out.
