I was in both Pennsylvania and Ohio.  Never seen a Romney volunteer even once.  Their ground game was not evident.  I think they were counting on tee-eve ads winning and outspending the President.

    •  in Cincinnati I saw (0+ / 0-)

clusters of supporters with signs at intersections a couple of itimes.

What was really hilarious was that we stayed with a host family in a fairly Republican-leaning neighborhood.  They had 2-3 Dem signs in their yard.  And 4 volunteers sleeping in their house on election weekend.

Next door, their Republican neighbor had 25 (I counted) Romney signs.  I loved the white signs signalling to us in the dark that our host's driveway was coming up!   And of course the neighbor had no clue about canvassing etc.  We met him outside once and he asked where we were from and when we said Paducah Kentucky, he asked why we came.  When we explained, he said, why don't you all just stay where you are and do that?  No clue!  On November 7th, all the white Romney signs were down by the time we got up at 9 am.  How I wish I had taken a picture before then!
