  •  An out-of-state Mormon Repub gets drunk in (5+ / 0-)

a town which is literarily crawling with my relatives, mainly Democratic ones, but also children, and drives around drunk? Is he kidding?

I hope he resigns. This is totally unacceptable. Alexandria isn't just "any" town either; it's a huge historical spot for the creation of American, where Washington lived before moving to nearby Mount Vernon.

The irony is scorching. I hope he didn't hurt anyone, and I also hope he is not able to return to office. Do we have any laws like that? That drunk drivers aren't fit representatives? If not, we probably should. It's a disgrace.

    •  there's the rub (0+ / 0-)

if Crapo was a Democrat, his grievous sin (the demon rum, running over the little children!!!) would be all over Fox news with serious beltway types discussing his resignation.

      Because he's a repub....nuthin.

Anthony Weiner was forced to resign because he showed somebody his dick. Nobody was going to get killed because they saw that...
