  •  Yup, he'll be forgiven (4+ / 0-)

And it will be considered rude to mention it politically, so no one will touch it.

    P.S. I am not a crackpot.

    •  Seconded: (10+ / 0-)

      Former longtime Idahoan.

Idaho could run a dead dog with an R beside its name and he would skate to an easy victory.

Unless the Boise - Sun Valley - Twin Falls triangle could vote in their own Senator, but still vastly outnumbered, too bad.

Back when "union" was not a perjorative, Idaho had very good Senators (Sen. Church of Watergate hearings) from the Dem party.

Blessed are the peacemakers, the poor, the meek and the sick. Message to Repug Fundies: "DO you really wonder "what would Jesus do?" I didn't think so.

      •  Frank Church was in that group of senators (0+ / 0-)

targeted by the John Birch Society and the National Conservative Political Action Committee (NCPAC) back in 1980 during the rise of the Tea Party's progenitors.

Remember the late Terry Dolan, co-founder of NCPAC?  Virulently "pro-family" and anti-gay.  Turned out he was homosexual himself, and died of AIDS.

The force (of hypocrisy) is always strong in the right-wing and its GOP enablers.
