    Of an adult man shot at very close range above the knee. I knew all about the destructive characteristics of the 5.56 mm (aka .223) bullet at close range, I thought. But the picture brought home the power of that round to disrupt tissues more than any words could.

    Think twice before clicking on the link. It's pretty graphic.

    I think that with this available, nobody really needs to see what it would do to a child.

      I read a little bit more on the link. Plenty of discussion of wound characteristics there from some of the people who treated the victim and others as well qualified. It's from the Philippines, I guess their medical privacy is different from ours.
