The Men in Black who foisted the Citizens United decision on us are apparently comfortable with these corrupt, gun-toting, healthcare-for-profit, fake grassroots types.  They have sent the rest of us the bad news that these amoral bozos will be running the country from here on out.

It's hard to choose the worst person in this story, but certainly the rich grifter picking Joe Walsh as the most deserving shows a great deal about the 'morality' of these creeps.

makes me scratch my head.  My in-laws live in his district, and I went to several of his campaign events just to experience the full industrial-strength virulence of his brand of paranoid Elmer Gantry Christianism.  And his greed.  Walsh can shave off a profit at the margins, but it seems bizarre to me that rich people would back him - the nation isn't quite stupid and hateful enough for Joe Walsh to have a real political career, and business executives should be smart enough to know that.

      •  My nearly 20 years in corporate America (11+ / 0-)

convinced me that business executives ARE NOT very smart.  Most of them can play the corporate game (suck up to the boss and don't rock the boat.)  The creative ones get out or are punished for their creativity.

One 'executive' I knew spent nearly every afternoon at the nudie bar down the street, stalking a stripper.  One day her bouncer boyfriend showed up and terrified everyone.  Still kept his job.  The only thing that got him fired was stealing money.

        •  Yep, I saw some really stupid stuff too. I was (6+ / 0-)

upper middle management. Got to watch a company purchase a HMO just before all of the juicy lawsuits began. It cost the corporation huge. Layoffs were massive. I saw one of my bosses wearing an orange apron at Home Despot. He was one of the bigger cocksuckers. I started laughing when I saw him. It was so fitting and just.
