I have, throughout my life (the first one I can recall happened when I was five), been blessed with the occasional fit of objectivity.  As I have put it a few times, I am always aware that I have faults - some days, I can tell you what they are.

I have always had work I enjoyed, that I could put down at the end of the day.  I have also always been paid well for it - not spectacularly, but well.  The financial troubles I have had were from trying to make someone happy who never was willing to be.

I have known for most of my life that where I was and what I was doing sprang from choices I had made.  And I always reserve the right to change my mind.

I can name one person without even having to think about it whose life is much better because I was in it.  I can name several others if I want to brag - and I could be wrong about those.

Strength and dignity are her clothing, she rejoices at the days to come; She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the law of kindness is on her tongue.
