    The U.S. Supreme Court declined Wednesday to put a temporary hold on a controversial provision in the new health care law requiring employers to provide health insurance coverage for contraceptives.
    Two businesses challenging the act -- the nationwide chain of 500 Hobby Lobby Stores and Mardel, a chain of Christian bookstores -- contended that the law violates their religious freedom.
    She tells me that every couple of weeks they drag all the employees to a meeting to preach to them about how wonderful their lawsuit is.

        They're been making inroads into the Bay Area -- saw one in Morgan Hill on our last drive down to Monterey. Had to tell my spouse about the case; he agreed they'll be on our shit list till they get their act together.

        Jesus never said that it was okay to discriminate against women when it comes to health care. And contraception happens to be a part of women's health.
