has any rights that we Americans have fought and died for, really. Some countries may have similar beliefs but I don't find what they think or do meaningful to my existence here in these United States, unless they decide to attack and invade us and institute their desires & thoughts upon all of us, then I might care.

So, does it matter what the rest of the world has? Or even if I'm supposed to 'promote' it?

Which, btw, baffles me, I don't promote anything but I do demand equity under law and that our created government follow the damn rules we gave them. If other countries want these same protections, let them fight for it like our ancestors did.  Let them throw off the yoke that ties them to their divine potentates and evolve. That really is their choice not mine.

Hey, but if they asked for help, I might be willing, I don't know.

    •  Fundamental human rights, I thought, are supposed (0+ / 0-)

to be fundamental human rights. No ex-felon loses any free religion right, or free speech right upon release from prison (and even very few well inside). And We The People, through our government have steadfastly acknowledged our responsibility to try to obtain all fundamental rights for all peoples everywhere.

Interestingly, RKBA has never yet made it onto that list. How fundamental/unalienable is that?

There can be no protection locally if we're content to ignore the fact that there are no controls globally.
