  •  I believe that someone on parole is subject to (5+ / 0-)

    searches as a condition of that parole w/o a warrant. And that should be the case.

    Many people on parole--not even for a felony--have been returned to incarceration for even having been in a home where certain items are found that are not theirs. And of course, this implies that searches are part of the parole of someone else living in that home.

    This happened to a friend of mine's son who was jailed (at 18) for having sex with his girlfriend who was a year younger. Father was a Sheriff, and the second the boyfriend turned 18 he had him nailed. It was a very, very sad story.
