    on my camera that will take a whole bunch of pictures in sequence...so I tried it on a fishing Kingfisher....12 tries later I finally got him in a focused sequence, zoom, bam, splash, zoom!

    That was pretty much it, too far away to post, doesn't blow up as it's not a big camera, but he's like a dart in the pictures! Last week's DCh kingfisher pictures were perfect from the kayak, never will see better!

    The one that lives on the beach near here is too shy, closest is about 150'...I may have to resort to wrapping myself in washed up kelp and crawling near his perch and waiting for him :>

      And from Eureka here's the Song Sparrow on the pole in front of the Holly Tree there from last summer, what an infestation of them there was, such great singing, they are very neat!

     

    Is that a Song Sparrow, I really don't know...

    This machine kills Fascists.

      They have a beautiful song, too. In my area, they are only here during the winter.
