  •  Struggling Back From Bankruptcy (0+ / 0-)

Had to take on car payment and rebuild credit after car broke down. Fearful of not being able to make support payments if the economy takes another hit and my company suffers. On the edge even though my salary in main job is well above median income. My second job limits time I spend with my son and would probably have to work more in it if my taxes go up. Harkin and Trumka have a hard on for taxing those between 250,000 and 450,000 and wouldn't mind if people like me above the middle double digits take a hit.  Love'em but there a lot of whiny ass titty babies here who do not have their ass on the line.  I include those who would lose their unemployment who they don't give a shit about either.  Think their is a class divide here on Daily Kos.

Hey, it could be said that YOU are doing the whining here.   Millions don't have fricking job, you got two!

Both Trumkin and Harkin have a track record working for those.

And there were many, many more choices available.

      Check out the chart above.

Seriously, I do empathize with your situation and hope your son does well.

But watching these front pagers and rec diaries taking this stand and it pisses me off. This is a long game.  If I were king I would promote more government spending and not care about taxes until we get more economic growth and lower unemployment.  Deficit is a long term problem and when we have to fix it we should get the top rates even above the Clinton rates into the forties.  So this deal as far as the long term is fine with me. If the do-nothing Republicans want to do the sequester, debt-ceiling game again, doesn't bother me. Do we have to agree to let them play their hostage game that is incredibly unpopular? Please proceed. They would have to octomander districts to win in 2014.
