Democrats are FOR the bill. The Senate passed the bill. Dems in the House are FOR the bill.  We've done what we need to do for the people who need help.

Republicans killed this in the House. The governor of NJ is a Republican. It is not Democrats responsibility to scold the Republicans on Christie's behalf. If he wants the aid for his state, let him do it.

attempted suicide over the past two years by being led to the noose by the teaparty caucus in the House.  And each time they have been saved by the few working brain cells left in the GOP - and the Democrats.  The House Democrats are willing to pull Republicans back from the gallows once again by voting in favor of this relief bill, but I'll be damned if Boehner isn't refusing, again, to engage with the House Democrats to get it done.

Not only has Boehner allowed himself to be dragged to the noose by the nutjobs in his party, he is in the process of positioning the entire party's head in the rope and waiting while the teapartiers have their hands on the trap door lever and the Democrats get fed up and just walk away.

It's inevitable that soon one of these repeated GOP suicide attempts is going to succeed.

"In this world of sin and sorrow there is always something to be thankful for; as for me, I rejoice that I am not a Republican." - H. L. Mencken
