    If memory serves, he was implicated in the scandal because while he was AG he apparently missed opportunities to go after Jerry Sandusky.  So now he wants to erase the penalty Penn State is having to pay?

    This is very thin ice for Tom Corbett, if PA Democrats want to bring up his record in this affair again.  Is he willing to make up the funding for child abuse programs from state funds?

      ....innoculate himself, but it seems like he's just digging himself a deeper political hole with this.  I don't think anyone in or out of the state is viewing this positively.

      I do agree that the NCAA is an illegal trust that needs to be broken up, but this is a lousy vehicle to use for those ends.
