    deductions for those who are most able to make them?

    I really can't criticize Ari Fleischer or anyone who chooses to donate less this year due to this change.   When the amount of disposable income one has to donate to charity is reduced, it's only logical to expect that you will take care of your own family first, especially when the inheritance tax goes up.  

    I am giving as much as I can do my kids now.  I will be damned if I will pay taxes on the money I earned twice, just to "spread it around".   If it's getting spread around, and I have a choice, my own will get it first, and anyone who says they wouldn't do likewise is probably not being 100% truthful when they say that.
