Couple this illness with being out of government for the next 2 years before the 2016 campaign begins and her age (Bush II was 54, Obama 47, Clinton 46, Bush I 66 and Reagan 69 -  Hillary at 69 would be the oldest since Reagan), I think this bodes ill for her chances in 2016, even if she is #2 most admired person.

the doctor saying there is no reason she could not pursue future work as a positive indication that she is healthy, and suffered no damage, and there is no reason for people to assume her future is limited.

She has plenty of time to make up her mind about her future activities. She seems healthy and energetic so whatever she choses to do in the future, I'm sure she will be able to pull it off.

Whatever she decides to do, I'm sure it will continue to include substantial contribution to our common good and public service. Former President Clinton as well. But they have worked so hard, no one will fault them if they should choose a slightly less intense lifestyle to enjoy life more.

Although, both of the Clintons seem happiest when fully engaged in work.
