  •  Many Years Ago Here (10+ / 0-)

I wrote a Diary that got promoted to the front page.

It talked about how I had worked as a consultant for AT&T's equipment division, which later became Lucent for a decade plus. You know the people that make data networking gear (how the Internet runs).

I explained the Wired story of leaked info, about how the government had tapped directly (we have the blue prints of how they did it BTW) into the NOC (Networking Operation Center) in San Fran for all data transfer and what that meant.

In a dumbed down version your Internet connection was tapped, like you see your phone tapped in a 1990 spy movie.

All those ACLU lawsuits where thrown out. I bet we are still doing that. It is actually kind of easy.

I'd think of all things the "Tea Party" could get with us on this .....

When opportunity calls pick up the phone and give it directions to your house.

    •  Remember we complained about the FISA reversals (10+ / 0-)

and were promised that if we stood down and did positive cheer leading so we could win the elections we would come back and fix this?  We pull the stops cheerleading, and now we see our civil liberties and constitutional freedoms diminished.

Well remember when I created this, in my opposition to the Obama vote.

was before I started keeping my eyes open for you name to see your amazing underwater fish photo.

So you are a Photoshop wizard as well?
          Or professional illustrator?

That might explain part of how the lighting details and cropping of your photos is always in the range of exceptional to perfect.

I was just noticing the lighting detail under and around onf of your tropical fish in a reef, and noticed how vibrant the lighting detail of the coral underneath the fish and in crevices in the corral. Then I figured you must have used those "contrast" and "brightness" slidebar-filters of photoshop or some similar package.

I have to find my old copy of Photoshop 6 (or 7) to do the same and crop my new HoundDog logo. Angelajean has convinced me it would be better than the yellow 12th century style sunburst logo I've been using. (I had entertained the notion of changing over to Solar Dog as a UID. It had never occurred to me that many older folks first think of an old Elvis song about a woman chaser when they hear the name.

I had meant it to be "sniffing out high crimes and misdeameners in the Bush White House like the Sherlock Holmes of the dog world, which is a little obscure.

But, the new picture is dark and too widely cropped to use as a 3/4 of an inch by 1/2 inch UID Avatar.
