  •  Gingrich is just stating the obvious. (0+ / 0-)

Boehner want's nothing more than to save his party, he'll do what it takes to do that, even if it means caving to the Hastert rule to get it passed.

His negotiating position has been moved left, but will still fight for whatever symbolic "wins" he can get.

nothing further for boehner to gain other than reclaim a positive place in in House history.

he'll bring an up and down vote to floor because he will both be putting country first (plus for him) and he gets to fuck cantor.

mittens=edsel. no matter how much money is spent to promote it, if the product sucks, no one will buy it.

In the end this issue will be solved, quicker than we expect, and more in the POTUS favor.

I have less confidence in anything else, like Gun Control, or Immigration Reform, being handled before 2014.

for working with Reagan.  No reason Boehner should.

Any objective observer can see that Teabaggerism is destroying the GOP with alacrity.  Boehner simply needs to rally the adults in his caucus against the mental children in his caucus to restore principled opposition to the floor of the House.

So far, though, he has lacked the intelligence and the courage to do this.
