  •  Oh, I am so pleased and grateful to remembrance (7+ / 0-)

for posting her eloquent diary within the MNCC tonight, and for her coverage of the comments as well. I thought I would jump in (and of course there are plenty of people here to greet!) but I am just beat. I suspect I am not alone in being simply wiped out by the day. Pretty momentous, and perhaps the start of a new era.
The door is open to anyone else who wants to post a diary for the series; just send me a Kosmail. It is wonderful that we have such a talented and supportive member/readership. That's something else I appreciate today, too.
Peace, blessings, and a healthy week again to all.

Some DKos series & groups worth your while: Black Kos, Native American Netroots, KosAbility, Monday Night Cancer Club. If you'd like to join the Motor City Kossacks, send me a Kosmail.

    •  Thanks, peregrine kate, (6+ / 0-)

everyone has their own process for getting through difficult times. I avoided MNCC for months then gradually dipped my toe in the cool waters. Avoidance is tricky but serves a purpose in helping us adjust when we need it. My nose has been in books and diaries, taking in the political climate and I'm still more reserved than usual, not sure if this is part of the cancer thing or something else. How does one know so soon after what is and what isn't linked to it?

Thank you for this welcoming space and anchor.

Yes, of course, one must trust one's own best judgment about what is needed at any given time. That has been one of the hardest lessons for me, honestly, but a valuable one.
I am very glad that you find this to be a welcoming and safe space. You are now helping to make it more so.
