to happen come hell or high water. We for sure had the high water part. Chris took the RV up on the 23rd and had to drive through a foot of water on Valley Ford Rd. getting there. We took the boat up on the 24th - gorgeous. Christmas Day - it was like a hurricane. Blew so hard that about 6pm - the rain got into the vent for the furnace and it would not light! Spent the night with a pan full of water on the stove to keep warm. Thankfully, the furnace lit the next morning. Have decided that next year - vacation will be decided at the last minute depending on the weather. If it's sunny and 70 in Bakersfield - we're going to Bakersfield!!! I am NOT kidding. Bodega is really beautiful when it's beautiful. We had a great time.  I love vacation!

if a habitat is flooded, the improvement for target fishes increases by an infinite percentage...because a habitat suitability index that is even a tiny fraction of 1 is still infinitely higher than zero, which is the suitability of dry land to fishes.
