And always remember that you are speaking for millions of other GLBT individuals with basically exactly the same type of experiences although the details vary some.

Although it can't substitute for the value of real life support, the internet is a tremendous educational tool and social support system which I think is still under-valued and under-utilized.

I don't know if such projects exist on other than a limited scale, but I would think that it would be of tremendous help to have a center which screens and lists sites for youths that are safe and helpful in developing self-understanding and avenues to positive interaction.  Of course, first every one should have a course or instruction on how to use the internet safely.

I really hadn't thought much about this potentiality until you mentioned the value of anonymous or semi-anonymous communication as with your expression in this diary.

More: Some men think the Earth is round, others think it flat; it is a matter capable of question. But if it is flat, will the King's command make it round? And if it is round, will the King's command flatten it?

was to offer hope to kids that are going through hard times. I just want any kids going through the cruelty of bullying to open up about it to someone. The problem will never be solved if we don't start teaching kindness for its own sake.

I can't really claim to speak for anyone else, all I can do is put my story out there and hope that it helps someone else to talk about what they're going through.

As bad as some people act with the veil of anonymity it could really help victims of bullying to open up and talk about their problems.
