Warsaw Business Journal:   Electricity exports to Germany increase by 48%

Poland has long been flirting with using the world's largest source of climate change free energy, the one characterized by attacks by the fearful, the superstitious, and the ignorant, nuclear energy.

The hatred of the world's largest source, by far, of climate change gas free energy, nuclear energy, is the main reason that 2012 will be recorded as one of the worst 5 or 10 years for increases in the level of dangerous fossil fuel wastes in the planetary atmosphere.   (This past December was the third worst year to year December increase ever recorded.)

Heckuva job anti-nukes.   You must be very, very, very, very, very, very proud.

Right now the bulk of Poland's electricity supply is coal, 87% of it.   Coal as a percentage of electricity production around the world.

The German nuclear phase out is simply and unambiguously a victory for coal and gas.  The renewable energy industry is doing the only thing it can do successfully, which is to serve as a fig leaf for the coal, gas, and oil industries.

    Have a nice day.
