      dunsel's question is perfectly reasonable and I certainly don't have the answer to it.

      The numbers that are not clear is the cost of delivering $30 B worth of food to the starving people in the world. But again, who cares! Let's spend $30 Billion and see what happens. Personally I think it would make us FAR safer than $30 Billion worth of bombs and bullets. But I have nothing to back that up.

        are attempting to end hunger. We don't need to re-invent the wheel. We just have to fund these agencies. Check out the agencies carefully, as some are scams. And there are probably agencies that teach agriculture and irrigation techniques. I know Israel sent several students to NMSU to study. Then they took desert land and made it capable of producing crops.
