We're about a generation away from the realization that money means absolutely nothing, is and always has been worthless, and we'll move to an earned credit society, whereby TIME is the new currency, giving everyone an equal chance of earning 24 credits per day.

95% of all life forms that once existed on earth are now extinct. It is only a matter of time until the Republicans follow suit.

The banksters already know that money is meaningless and they can just take whatever they want -- money is only the means by which poverty is enforced on the serfs.

      Money is theft.

this whole fucking thing comes crashing down.

At that point, a credit system would be perfect.  Of course we'd have to give up our "luxurious american life style".

But we produce enough food for the entire world, and could produce more if farmers weren't paid to "not produce".

In the end as long as we are fed, clothed, and housed, that's all a human really needs.

I imagine at some point a return to a society that is simpler and more just and fullfilling.

      •  Why? (0+ / 0-)

If a job needs done, it's worth doing.  If a hospital needs a janitor for 8 hours and a surgeon for 8 hours, it still needs both for 8 hours.  Take away the janitors, and hospital deaths will skyrocket.  If you want to proclaim that you have to pay more because surgeons rack up all that school debt, then just pay for the schooling.  It's a lot cheaper than paying higher rates to them over their lifetime.

And very few people who could be surgeons are going to say, 'gee, I want to be a janitor instead, since the pay's the same!'

        •  Exactly (0+ / 0-)

Everyone should be born equal, and regardless of what you do, as long as you contribute to society, you should be able to live equal to others.

If you want more material goods out of your life, you work more.

Some would argue that, yeah sure but we need to have money to buy raw materials from other countries.  Why?  Hasn't stopped us for the past half century.
