  •  Right now, as we speak, I'm sure there are some (0+ / 0-)

heroes out there who may be considering world-wide "arks"
of some sort to protect our animal and plant life in the future.

Vast biospheres, run by alternative energies as yet perhaps not even invented, to ensure the continuation of our megafauna to microfauna and much of our most sensitive flora for the future of innumerable species.

It's Silent Running redux and it has to be one of the weapons in our arsenal.

Do I want this? Not really. I'd rather correct and reverse the slide we're in. But it may be too late.

the air. Subs in WW2 had Co2 scrubbers, so its not the technology, its the energy required.

Maybe we should allow the planet decide? The amount of money that would take is staggering. Besides, save them for what? For when we "get our act together?"

Let's spend that money on studies on how to adapt and invest in green technologies that will -albeit very slowly at first- begin to reverse the damage.

By that time we will have developed the Schmoo we will need.
