    I wouldn't recommend Niacin as a sleep aid.  I take it nightly, and find that it often causes me to flush and it is very uncomfortable.  I take Benadryl to help me sleep, which is very cheap and works okay

      told me about Niacin.

      Doc said it was much less addictive than melatonin (as in none) since it's a B-Vitamin that washed thru the system.


      Supposedly "flushing" is a possible side-effect, but I've never had any problems like that.

      Works like a mini-stress tab for me, especially the time-released version.

      it's available over the counter, in the vitamin aisle.
