shows that their evidence comes from the Global Warming POlicy Foundation, who have this to say about themselves.

The Global Warming Policy Foundation is unique. We are an all-party and non-party think tank and a registered educational charity which, while open-minded on the contested science of global warming, is deeply concerned about the costs and other implications of many of the policies currently being advocated.
    Need I say more?

This is the guy who has the "Climategate" updates and "Climate FAIL" files talking about how stupid Bill Nye and Al Gore are.

Yes, it's run by a TV meteorologist

      Sigh.  Always check your sources

..mitigation, and still consider myself a Dem.

But I'm a Dem who happens to believe that the most pressing problem facing the US is income and wealth inequality.

And every policy prescription put forth by Dems should be examined through that prism.

Will the policy prescription decrease or increase income and wealth inequality?

I responded to this notion previously that climate change is vastly worse and income inequality is no excuse or justification for inaction.  Indeed climate inaction will make global inequality much much worse since the worlds poor have no resources with which to respond.

However, viewing it through the prism just suggests which tools to use. I have to say given you inaccurate statement about the track of GHGs in the US and your use of sources whether you really do understand the actual costs.  For example my carbon footprint for my electricity is now zero.  Cost?  About $12 a month. Hardly out of reach for most.  And I am an early adopter
