We have some big outdoor containers of tomatoes. They are right out the front door, on the deck, in five gallon pickle containers. They sure  get continuous heat. I put regular bed sheets over the plants when the temp is above 92 degrees. (Usually around 2 Pm in the California afternoon.

We have gotten our eggplants to be mature plants, and sometimes we get three or four eggplants to eat. But I'd love to know how to get more. Any tips on how you got so many eggplants to survive, ripen and then get to be served as dinner?
