  •  he will do like last time and every other time he (0+ / 0-)

has voted - he will ask himself if the passing of this law will be beneficial to America and those who inhabit it. Will this law improve conditions for the people who live in America ? If so, he will vote for it. If not, he will vote against it.

He's pragmatic and practical like that.
He does not compare ACA with Single Payer and then vote against it since ACA is not as good as Single Payer. In my view, Single Payer would be miles better than ACA - not even close. Senator Sanders certainly agrees. However, he votes on the legislation at head. The potential does not vitiate against the actual. He never allows the perfect become the enemy of the truly good.

Somehow, I think that you and gooderservice and a few others consider Senator Sanders a sell out corporatist; since Senator Sanders voted for President Obama, you are in a tough pickle logically speaking, aren't you.

This is why it is best not to paint yourself into a corner. You leave yourself no way out.

you think wrong.  I rank Bernie Sanders as the best senator in the country.  And my question specifically was posed to him or his staff, not to you.  Last time I looked, nobody appointed you to speak for him.

    •  in what way can chained CPI be (0+ / 0-)

      "good for America?"

if you mean, will someone  take a hostage so that voting against chained CPI will require some awful damage to the economy or some vulnerable population--well, you can count on that. That's the political order of the day. The question is, when is Bernie--or anybody else--going to finally refuse to give the hostage-takers everything they want in exchange for not shooting the hostage.
