      The reason Obama hasn't embraced the 14th Amendment option or the platinum coin option is because he wants to use the debt ceiling "crisis" to achieve his "grand bargain," i.e. following his buddy Peter G. Peterson down the road of corporate tax cuts and drastic earned-benefit program cuts.
      Only a "Democratic" president can gut the New Deal.
