But job creation seems to be an afterthought with this Administration.

What's the plan for the second term?  Any news on a policy agenda, forecasts, goals?  Bueller, Bueller...?

Democratic Leaders must be very clear they stand with the working class of our country. Democrats must hold the line in demanding that deficit reduction is done fairly -- not on the backs of the elderly, the sick, children and the poor.

He needs to talk about how he's going to keep his campaign promise about stopping companies from shipping jobs overseas.

He needs to talk about what his administration can do on its own to increase employment.

Unemployment and underemployment are still the biggest problem facing our country today.  It's destroying us.

Obama should have a jobs commission that meets every week to brainstorm ideas and set goals to reach full employment in the next 2 years.   It's the most important thing he can do for the country, that's his job.

We've had 5 years of high unemployment with very little relief.  It's time to stop ignoring the problem and start fixing it.

          •  God, what nonsense. (7+ / 0-)

Congress blocked all but the first stimulus package and wasted almost half of that on useless tax breaks.

The Birchers yowling for Small Government have fought off every piece of realistic Jobs legislation.

The Birchers and their paymasters don't give a rat's ass for the working man. Never have. Never will.
