Either you forgot about our 10am weekend time or I got my days mixed up, lol!  Wouldn't be unheard of.

I am having a bit of a relapse.  What is it with the flu?  It makes you think it's over, then it comes back and enters a new phase.  I thought I got off with a few days of misery but it looks like this flu is just going to take its time to run its course.  Some people have told me it hangs on for weeks, on and off.

KBO is on his way over.  We're going to make pie today.  Pie is needed.  Let there be pie.

For some reason eating fast food 'meat pie' in New Zealand popped into my head, instead of my all time fav, pecan pie.

Homemade chicken pot pie with the crust is also good, except, of course, for the chicken.

We have some  new friends in Santa Fe who are vegan activists, and we went to recipe demo night with film then a 'Thanksliving' celebration potluck.

They are in Costa Rica and there last week will overlap with our first week and we are supposed to meet up with them in Montezuma.  We always stay at Luna Llena because they have a kitchen for guest use and a veranda overlooking the pacific where all manner of tropical birds and two types of monkies pass by.  Hope to learn some more vegan recipes from them.

We are making a serious attempt to get back to our vegetarian roots, but probably won't get to majority vegan. We will see.I am sure we will 'sneak' down into the village for a fresh fish or two along the way though. Poor fish.
