  •  Man, PCOS sucks. (7+ / 0-)

I am so sorry you're in pain. I had my first ovarian cyst at age 11, and have been on the PCOS train for a long, long time.

I struggled with infertility for many, many years. Our pregnancy (when it finally, FINALLY happened) was very wanted, but I understand all about feeling like you don't matter.

Infertile or childfree by choice, either one can be quite brutal when smug people who have no problem popping out baby after baby make assumptions about why you haven't reproduced.

I hope you're able to get some relief without an ovarian rupture. :(

    •  My first cyst was age 14 (3+ / 0-)

It caught me by surprise. I had no symptoms until the ovary torqued and then I thought I was dying. The doctor kept trying to send me home saying I just constipated, they wouldn't even give me pain medication. Another doctor finally stepped in and insisted on an ultrasound, which found the grapefruit-sized cyst and twisted ovary.

I'm glad you were able to overcome your fertility issues.
