  •  True and let us not forget that SS does NOT (19+ / 0-)

need fixing and will be solvent for some time.

The only scenario under which SS would have future problems decades from now is IF unemployment increases and wages continue to fall.

If our DC priviledged elites wish to make that argument to the people, I'm all ears.

More: Some men think the Earth is round, others think it flat; it is a matter capable of question. But if it is flat, will the King's command make it round? And if it is round, will the King's command flatten it?

    •  Maybe if they worked (14+ / 0-)

for a real economy that  provided jobs that paid decently and didn't look at humans as a profit loss for the owners, SS and all our entitlements would be solvent. Progressive taxation would also help. Cutting our obscene war department and the spooks and assorted 'security agencies would also help.

At this point all our government does is serve as an ATM for the privatizing, global implementation of oligarchical collectivism.  They also serve as enforcers for this freaking anti-democratic NWO via our military and 'state security'.

Chained CPI is chained to an economy that guarantees we will all live in austerity and sacrifice everything public to those who are doing god's work. Eat you peas everyone and always remember if you can't afford chicken their are some good brands of cat food out there that might not make you sick.

I'm amazed that people who vote Democratic and proclaim to be pragmatists can't see any of the obvious set ups coming their way and insist that cat food is fine and that we should all realize two legs are in fact better. Simpson's face alone is enough to make a real Democrat recoil in horror. This is not what a Democratic administration looks like.

'We do not disparage wealth creation in America' Barack Obama

Speak for your self and your cronies Mr. President. I disparage economic inequity that punishes the most vulnerable and transfers all our wealth for wealths sake to the too big to fail.
