...where somehow MLK Day is a State-recognized holiday. That's next Monday because you can't have someone's Day fall on their actual Day cause America and stuff. Sorry Washington and Lincoln.

Cheers to the quotes. Haven't seen this one before and will be stealing using it:

The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.  Intelligence plus character---that is the goal of true education.
Thanks for pointing it out Mr. in Portland Maine.

Cheers to Lance Armstrong for finally admitting something. We don't know what yet but whatever. I still look up to the guy even if he was dirty. He not only beat cancer but beat the odds with what he did athletically, even if he was chemically-enhanced. And honestly? I look at it the same way I do the baseball players. Everybody juiced. Everybody. Just like Barry Bonds, Lance was just better at not getting caught. It doesn't make them any less worthy of praise for their accomplishments, the biggest of which was making their sports relevant again.

Jeers to Oprah for putting something on I actually want to watch. Damn you, evil woman. I guess Lance just provided someone else a performance-enhancer...

Cheers to bad jokes. Can't get enough of 'em.

Cheers, folks. Have a pleasant Tuesday.
