  •  this is the place and time i would go back to (7+ / 0-)

if i could time travel.  i'd want to spend the entire time that the exhibition was open, so that i could explore every inch of the place and every single exhibit.  i'd want to eat the foods, touch the  textiles...everything!

i loved devil in the white city. i hardly even remember the gory parts.  that was just a background story to me.  i was much more interested in the details of getting the whole 'city' built.  so many 'firsts'.  such rich history.

the ebook images are fascinating.  i'll spend a lot of time looking at the details there.  just incredible.  thank you so much for that.

and the links. It was a fascinating time. I like to open the 4800 sized pictures and roam around the scenes. There is so much to be discovered.

Enjoy them. Thank you for your nice comments.

I saw you dropped in to my son's diary, thanks!

I'm just here to squelch the rumor that I was swallowed by Facebook.

Actually, it's music, family and community service activities that soak up all my time, though I lurk regularly in GOS, and comment now and then.

I hope you and your family are all well!

and i'm very glad to hear you haven't fallen into the facebook abyss.  much better that you're doing all those wonderful real life things.  it's obvious you've been putting a lot of work into parenting---i'm sure you're quite proud of that son of yours.  we miss you though.  please try to drop a line once in a while.  :)
