    and loved the book. I also liked, his book on Marconi, Thunderstruck, although it wasn't the same caliber of The White City.

    Finally, I have to say Here's to dear old RPI.  Nsfbr is Physics, class of 1985.  Rensselaer is the Marion's oldest engineering school and alma mater of some of the true giants of the industrial revolution.

      RPI was the alma mater for my first physics teaching mentor. It is my only connection. But, it stuck. I enjoyed 38 yrs of teaching high school physics in IL and IA.
